Bourdeaux Hosts Jobs Fair With Thousands Of Openings

DULUTH, GA — Today, Congresswoman Carolyn Bourdeaux (GA-07) hosted a job fair with over 70 participating businesses, hiring for more than 3,600 positions. Job seekers from around Georgia’s 7th Congressional District and the metro Atlanta area came to discover new career paths, and get connected with the right opportunities.

“Today’s event was a testament to the resiliency of Georgians. The economy is roaring back, and I wanted to do everything possible to connect people with jobs, and employers with talent,” said Congresswoman Carolyn Bourdeaux. “After a difficult year and a half where so many Georgians struggled to see the light at the end of the tunnel, it’s an honor to be in a room full of fresh starts and new beginnings.”

The jobs fair was held at the Gas South Convention Center with hundreds of attendees. All participants were required to wear masks and maintain social distancing. Congresswoman Bourdeaux plans to make this event an annual tradition in this community.
